A COMPETITION to find the best young photographer has now been launched. The Tavyside Young Photographer of the Year is organised by Tavyside Patients' Association, which hopes to receive photographs from youngsters in three age groups — four to seven years, eight to eleven, and 12 to 18. This year some small changes have been made to the format of the competition. Competitors will see different categories, a reduced entry fee, and an extended upper age group from 16 to 18 years old. In October three judges, Stuart Black, Keith Urros and Times photographer James Bird will present prizes for all groups.
