WHO says community spirit is dead? Last week my car broke down on Crowndale Road. In the space of an hour, while I waited for the AA, over 30 people stopped to ask if I was okay or needed help.
Thank you to everyone, I really appreciated it, and it is good to know that we still live in a society where people look out for each other.

MAY I, through your paper, thank the shoppers at Safeway who generously donated £100 when I played my piano accordion there recently.
