COMEDY comes to the Hatherleigh Community Centre this Saturday (April 16) with a special event to herald this summer's Hatherleigh Festival.

Kooky stand-up comedienne Caroline Mabey and surreal comedian Joey Page are are the two talented supporting acts for Wil Hodgson, who headlines the event. Wil promises to bring his unique blend of humour to the evening.

The bar opens at 8pm, with the performance pencilled in for 9pm. All proceeds — and half the bar takings — are going towards keeping the festival free.

l Organisers of Hatherleigh Festival are looking for local artists who want to exhibit their work during the festival from July 28-31.

There will be venues around the town which will make up the art exhibition walking tour, showing off a range of artistic creations.
