LAUGH out loud comedy will be on offer at Tavistock Town Hall at the end of the month raising money for a children's charity.
Building on the success of its recent fundraising events, the Tavistock Friends group of the Children's Hospice is delighted to welcome back well-known comedian Johnny Cowling who will performing at the town hall on Friday, April 26 at 7.30pm.
Judy Pride, community fundraiser for the Children's Hospice, said: 'I am really delighted that Johnny has decided to support our charity once again, as I know he is very popular and certainly guarantees a good night out of fun and laughter.
'This year, Rosemary Turner will be providing music and songs as part of the Dartmoor Cabaret. The Tavistock group has worked really hard this spring with an amazing auction of goods and services, a tournament bridge afternoon, which was sold out weeks beforehand, and those who attended Penny's Hats afternoon not only had a better idea of how hats are made, but had great fun trying them on too.'
Tickets for Johnny Cowling are £10 and can be bought from Lake's Pharmacy in West Street, or on the door on the night.
