LADIES, it is time to limber up and grab an entry form to take part in the annual Tavistock Ladies' Race and Fun Run.

Organised by Tavistock Rotary Club, Tavistock Athletic Club and West Devon Borough Council, the race and fun run will take place in July during Carnival Week.

Both starting from Tavistock Viaduct, the ladies' race covers five miles, while under 16s and parents who wish to run with the youngsters can take part in the fun run, which covers 1.2 miles.

The proceeds from the day will go to local charities and all runners will receive a medal when finished.

The race will take place on Sunday July 18 — 10am for the ladies' run and 10.10am for the fun run. The entry fee is £6 for the ladies' run, and £3 for under 16s.
