Come into the garden

CALLING all gardeners ? the new Ockment Centre Doorstep Green Garden needs you.

Anyone interested in learning more about the project and perhaps becoming a Friend of the garden is welcome to visit the centre for a cup of tea at 3.30pm today (Thursday).

Tim Argles, BBC Radio Devon gardener and the man who came up with the Ockment Centre garden blueprint, will be giving a short talk about the design, its implementation and the future of the garden.

This will also be an opportunity to take a leisurely walk around the garden, which is currently looking very colourful.
