MR FOWLEY, a very special Leonburger dog, will be bringing his owner Jennie Blachall to Yelverton on Saturday August 13 to help her to organise his own brand of fun dog show — Mutts Mayhem — at the celebrations to mark the 70th Anniversary of RAF Harrowbeer.
Mr Fowley and Jennie have been working tirelessly to raise funds for the new Children's Hospice and were invited to stage a dog show in Yelverton, near the Knightstone Tea Rooms and to raise even more for Children's Hospice South West.
Mr Fowley's brand of fun shows are extremely popular and Jennie and he hope many of his friends will be coming along. Mr Fowley can be seen regularly on CBBC Children's TV Channel and will be happy to 'paw' his autograph for his fans. He has hundreds of followers on his Facebook page and when he does a personal appearance they have chance to have a very special hug.
Jennie Blachall, Mr Fowley's owner and PA, said: 'We have so enjoyed meeting all the wonderful dog owners and dog lovers who have helped us raise such a lot for the Precious Lives Appeal and we are really looking forward to making new friends in Yelverton.'
All family pet dogs (whether they are pure or of mixed breed) are welcome to take part and there are even classes for children.
All classes are just £1 to enter and you pay as you enter the ring. The top three winners of each class will be presented with a rosette.
The show starts at 1pm so bring your dog along to meet Mr Fowley and help him raise the final £300,000 needed to build Little Harbour.
