Children in the Tavistock area are being offered the chance to have a go at learning circus skills during the Easter holidays. The Circus Skills workshop will be held at Whitchurch Community Primary School on Tuesday April 17 and will be led by circus tutor and performer Ali Oops. A similar activity day in the February half-term holiday proved popular and children will have a chance to try diablos, juggling, and unicycles. There are still a few places left for the day which costs £16.50. There are also a few places remaining on the Westden Fast Food and Chocolate day at the Alexander Centre on Thursday April 12 where children will have a go at cooking healthy and local burgers and making Easter chocolates. Places should be booked with Westden as soon as possible on 0845 345 5077. The days are for children aged 8-11 and aim to provide fun activities for local children and child care for parents during the school holidays.
