Come and get an answer

A CHANCE for Okehampton residents to come and ask questions, and put their views to their town councillors will be offered next week at the annual town assembly meeting.

The meeting will take place in the Charter Hall, Okehampton, next Monday (March 29) from 7pm.

There will be a special guest speaker, Janet McCarthy from Devon County Council, who will be talking about tourism.

Mayor of Okehampton Cllr Christine Marsh said all were welcome to attend.

Cllr Marsh said it was a chance for the public to ?come and get an answer? on questions that concerned them and to gain a better understanding of how the town council works.
