THE game got off to a slow start with heavy ground making it hard going. Again Tavistock fielded a number of inexperienced players with Alex Murray coming on for injured Tara McGlade.
Tavistock scored their first try when Wiz Francis made an excellent run down the right wing, offloading to Zoe Colton who ran through the last of the Withycombe defence to score.
Two players making their debut were Debbie and Hannah from North Tawton, each making good tackles and keeping possession of the ball.
With her second try in two games Hayley Williams made the score 10-0 and another from Colton brought the final score to 15-0, keeping Tavistock at the top of the league.
