MORE than £1,000 was raised for the Children's Hospice South West by customers of the Union Inn in Tavistock, who recently had their hair dyed some weird and wonderful colours for the charity.
Francis Jaspar, pub landlord, had the fundraising idea and at one point was sporting three different colours, some of which have since washed out.
About 15 regulars took the plunge and had their hair dyed, in the capable hands of Debbie Friend and Nicki Cruise from Turning Heads and Mandy Jones from the Elegant Nail Studio.
