MOUNT House School U11 girls? hockey team scored an exciting victory over Plymouth College, as some intensive training over the previous week paid off. The team played with a new-found tenacity, improving the field play and their communications from their last match. They were able to keep the pitch well covered and to hold on to possession for the majority of the game. Among their key players, Imogen Galsworthy fought hard to intercept opposition plays, secure possession and put Mount House back on the offensive. Goalscorers were Poppy Hartley and Ellie Hayward, who has only recently joined Mount House from Plymouth College Prep, and was playing against her former classmates. Mount House goalkeeper Katrin Mannes saved several shots on goal to ensure a victory by two goals to nil.
