DUCHY College is seeking horses to live a luxurious lifestyle at its rural Stoke Climsland campus to aid the training of students.
Now that the term has ended, the equine yard staff are hard at work preparing for the new groups of students and horses and are currently on the lookout for new friends for the current working livery horses.
Equestrian Centre Manager, Alison Abbey said: 'We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our working livery horse owners for their continued support this year with sending us their horses.
'The horses have proved once again that not only do they progress under the guidance of our experienced equine teaching team but as was seen at our Open Days in June, they thrive in the environment we create for them.
'The students have enjoyed riding and competing all the horses, as have the equine staff. Due to some of our horses leaving this year, retiring due to old age and going on to hacking homes we have more vacancies for working livery than are normally available.
'We use only the best quality feed, forage and bedding. The welfare of the horse is our priority hence the regular and stringent routine we maintain to support their needs upon which horses thrive.'
Anyone interested should contact 01579 372203 for an application pack. All types of horse are considered and ponies no smaller than 14hh.
