IN the Okehampton and district Table Tennis League division one this week Okehampton B were at home to Bridestowe. Andy Moppett lost to Mark Fogerty in four legs in their first game. Mark went on to complete another fine maximum to help his team to a 7-3 win. Andy won his next two singles and in the last he did well to beat Francis Griffiths in five legs — 7-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-5. Peter Richardson won the other singles for Okehampton B. In division two Okehampton College B were at home to Moretonhampstead B. The college team raced into a 9-0 lead but David Shilston saved the whitewash by beating John Howick in the last singles. Stewart McCormack and Ricky Bennett won all their singles for a convincing 9-1 win for the college.
