A LOCAL builder has scooped a brand new electric cement mixer, the first prize in a free draw.
Colin Clarke won the draw run by the recently-opened Tavistock branch of Brandon tool hire and collected a cement mixer worth around £250.
He had visited the tool hire firm to take part in its breakfast promotion, and filled in a draw ticket, and later that day was told he had won the star prize.
Colin said he was amazed at his luck as he had never won anything before, and when he had first been told he thought it was a 'wind-up'.
