A SPECIAL coffee morning to raise funds for the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Pets as Therapy (PAT Dogs) charities will take place in Callington next month.

The event will take place on Tuesday, July 9 from 10am until noon at 28 Werrington Drive, Callington.

Coffee or tea and homemade cake for £2.50 will be available.

Organiser Wendy Johnson said: 'We have a demo by hearing dog puppies in their early stages of training, a bumper bring and buy stall plus a short talk by Nick Ford of the Memory Café, Callington.

'This is for local people living with memory loss their family or carers who, with the support of volunteers, enjoy each others company.'

A collection will also be made for the Callington and District Food Bank and Pet Food collection .
