WHAT do Dartmoor's rivers mean to you? West Devon photographer Vikky Minett is staging an exhibition of close-up views of Dartmoor rivers at the High Moorland Visitor Centre — and is looking for poems, stories, essays and accounts of rivers to accompany her pictures. Vikky said she is looking for writing from anybody — amateur writers, professionals, or people who have never written anything before. 'I had one guy send me a piece who was quite embarrassed by the fact that he'd written a poem — he sneaked it to me,' she said. Some of the pieces of writing will be displayed on the wall alongside Vikky's photographs, others will be included in a folder accompanying the exhibition. All contributions need to be received by May 7, and the exhibition will run from June 8 to July 11.
