A MEMBER of Tavistock Physically Challenged Group had his moustache shaved off with a cut-throat razor in the skilled hand of Jake Broome the barber, of The Hair Lounge in Tavistock recently.

The event, at Long Ash Garden Centre, was in aid of club funds, and has raised more than £300 so far.

The group enables local people with disabities to access opportunities for social interaction and support. There are 30 members and ten volunteers and it meets twice a month for lunch or has speakers and musical afternoons. For more information please phone Mary Worth on 01822 890534.
