Colyton Grammar girls' first 4
Kelly College girls 3
IN the first half Kelly played with much determination and distributed the ball well. Gem Murphy from defence made some lovely breaks and attacking play through the middle.
A short corner from the right hand channel led to a direct goal from the top of D, Kate Eadie. Colyton Grammar maintained their shape and returned with a few short corners but Kelly's defense held firm. An attacking drive from pass Olivia Eadie meant that Georgie Killingbeck scored a one on one with the goalie.
In the second half, Colyton scored an early goal where Kelly was slow to mark up. The away side had some great wide passes and a few attacking runs. Colyton scored again from a short corner making the score 2-2.
Colyton then took the lead with a scrappy goal.
Kelly fought hard and were awarded a short corner which led to Chrissie Corlet equalising but with minutes to go, Colyton scored again. Kelly Coll U13A girls 1
Mount House 1
THIS was an excellent result for Kelly as Mount House are particularly strong at this age group. Kelly's Daniela Wetten worked hard in defence and with Georgia Donnelly taking the ball into the 'D' from some strong lead runs it was always going to be a close match.

Mount House 2
THE Kelly girls worked hard to keep possession of the ball and with Bell Germon distributing the ball well and Rosa Kings-Welton making some excellent saves it was a well deserved victory.
Molly Sellers played well in midfield and with Megan Bassett goal hungry, it was inevitable that the Kelly girls were going to score goals.

FOLLOWING Kelly's 3-0 win against Plymouth College their match against Torquay went to penalty flicks.
Chris Monger played well in goal for Kelly and with Bruce Traill, Will Jones and Jamie Briant all scoring their flicks and the opposition only scoring two due to good keeping from Chris Monger, this means that the Kelly Boys will go through to the next round in January to have a chance at representing Devon in the regional tournament.
All the boys played exceptionally well with Jamie Briant and Oliver Shea tackling well, Nathan Sutton poaching anything in the 'D' and Ben Murphy working hard in midfield.

AMY Jones had a superb game in the second half and with Hope Stevenson chasing every ball down and trying to find Katy Collingwood and Fleur Sylvester it was not long before the ball arrived in the opposition's 'D'. Amy Anstee scored one of the goals.

BOTH teams worked hard to gain possession of the ball. Kelly scored the first goal and did look as if they were then going to be dominant but Colyton returned the favour and slipped in a good goal past keeper Rosannah Morel. Kelly scored again but in the last four minutes Colyton scored twice in quick succession.

KELLY were unlucky not to secure a third goal and win the match. Molly Sellers worked hard in midfield and with Phoebe Jourdan back from illness, the team were all together again. Megan Bassett and Phoebe Jourdan had some good attacking. The defence played well with Bell Germon and Thea Crosby linking well to distribute the ball.

THE Kelly girls played well and with Laura Nicholas as strong as ever in defence, it was difficult for the opposition to break through. Betsy Kharas played well and with Ellen West making some good drives up the pitch it was not long before the U14 scored the only goal of the match. This was a good finish to the season by ending on a victory.
l BOTH of the Mount House School girls' U13s hockey teams played against St Michael's School, Tawstock - winning one match and drawing the other. In the first VII match, the Mount House completed their unbeaten season with a hard-fought draw. An excellent goal from Eliza Sale to secure a 1-1 draw was enough to ensure that they finished the season unbeaten.
The second VII too started slowly, playing poorly and without enough commitment to go in for half time 1-2 down. They really only began showing the skills they had learned and playing as a team in the last part of the second half. Imogen Galsworthy was strong in defence, Cecily Jervoise and Gemma Robbins took over in midfield, and the attack followed up shots on goal to secure what became a comfortable 6-2 victory.
