Okehampton U11s 15 Crediton U11s 15 ON a bright but cool morning the squad gathered at the North Tawton ground for their return match against Crediton. After a good warm up session the squads faced up to each other and it was Crediton who kicked off and launched their attack. This was held off and play swayed up and down the pitch. Crediton scraped in a try which was converted but the Okes? forwards put on the power and soon Dean F was able to score an equalising try, converted by Liam. After half time both sides challenged for the ball and a hard forwards? game ensued. The Oke scrum was able to use coordinated power to hold up or push back the heavier Crediton pack. Good runs by the forward and back divisions of both teams made this an excellent match. Good tackling by the Oke backs, especially Dan P meant Crediton just managed to score two additional tries. Counter-attacks by the Okes allowed Dean F and Tom to score and Liam to convert.
