THE Rev Geoff Lloyd, the rural dean and priest of Horrabridge and Sampford Spiney churches, is also a school governor at Horrabridge Community Primary School.
Geoff is moving to Canada soon, and there will be many, deserved, tributes to his amazing, selfless and devoted service to his parishes and the wider community, but the governing body of Horrabridge School wish to be in the vanguard of those tributes.
Geoff (Rev Geoff to the children at the school) has been a community governor at the school throughout his incumbency and has devoted days and days of his time, dedicated to improving the life chances of all our children, raising the education standards throughout the school and playing a central role in helping us take the school forward.
His wisdom, humour, experience, gentle (but persuasive!) collaborative approach have been exemplary and will be very much missed.
