Truro 0 Tavistock 3 TAVISTOCK 2nd XI hockey ploughed on with the season?s unbeaten run. The game started in the usual fashion with Tavistock applying pressure and opening up the scoring with another short corner strike by Phil Edwards. Pressure continued and the improving James Hawken slotted a superb second. By the break Tavistock were comfortable with a 3-nil lead and looking to improve on the tally. Unfortunately Truro moved the entire side into defence and prevented any further scores. Tavistock pressured and worked the ball up the field well but could not capitalise on the possession. The solid defence of Tavistock managed any break that Truro had and maintained another clean sheet. This was the icing on the cake of a superb and historic weekend for Tavistock, with all three men?s teams winning and the Ladies? 1st XI.
