THE best comedy film ever, Some Like It Hot, is screening at the Charter Hall, Okehampton, this Sunday, August 20. The 1959 film starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon was nominated for seven Academy Awards. When the American Film Institute polled its membership of film professionals in 2000, Some Like It Hot was voted the best comedy of all time. Doors open at 2.30pm and the film starts at 3pm, followed by a cream tea at 2pm per person.
