COLLUMPTON went on the attack,but good 'up and at 'em' defence forced them to knock on for the first of many scrums in which the Tavistock pack dominated.
Tavistock kept possession with good continuity from the backs sucking in defence, creating an overlap for winger Claire Kelly to charge over the line.
Collumpton came back with good defence from flankers Wizzy and Cornish turning over ball.
From a five-metre scrum No 8, Mandy Blackmoor, powered her way over to score.
With Tavistock keeping up the pace towards the end of the first half, full back Zoe Colton took the ball on to score in the corner.
The second half saw Tavistock with storming runs from prop Jacky High, giving quick ball for winger Jenny May to score one of her two tries.
Good decision-making from scrum half Chris Staniland enabled a quick tap penalty to give Kelly her second try.
