TAVISTOCK opened the scoring with a try from Claire White. Liskeard were quick to reply and took the lead when their try was converted.
At half time Tavistock were back in the lead. Zoe Colton played outstandingly at fly half and is going to make a strong team with Teri Cole at scrum half.
It was excellent to welcome Laura Evans to the team, having just returned to the area from university. It was also the first match for Julie, who was versatile enough to play with both forwards and backs.
The second half went well for Tavistock with most of the game being played on the Liskeard line. All four of Tavistock's tries were scored by prop Claire White, who was in the midst of the action.
