A STRANGE and extraordinary circus of dreams is coming to Okehampton this weekend. Get Changed Theatre Company will be presenting their new show, 'The Strange and Extraordinary Case of the Circus of Dreams,' on Friday February 21 and Saturday February 22. Get Changed is an Okehampton-based theatre company of adults with learning difficulties. They are best known for their educational shows that focus on issues such as bullying. However, working on the premise that a change is better than a rest, they are delighted to be working on a purely creative endeavour. The play is a tale of murder and intrigue, set in a supernatural circus run by the sinister 'Enigma'. Get Changed, who have been preparing the play since October, are working in collaboration with Wolf and Water Arts Company, a Devon-based theatre company who specialise in working with people with learning difficulties, people with mental health issues and offending behaviour groups. The show will take place in the Octagon Theatre at Okehampton College. It starts at 7.30pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday. Tickets are available on the door and cost £5 or £3 for concessions.
