CIRCUS skills, trampolining and crafts are just a few of the exciting activities on offer at low cost workshops being held in Callington and Delaware over the Easter holidays. The workshops, organised by Caradon District Council and funded by South East Cornwall Extended Services Network, take place from April 2 to April 13 and costs range from £3.50 to £10 with a half-price discount for households with a total income of less than £15,000 a year. Sessions at Callington Sport and Leisure and Delaware Primary School are open to children and young people aged from 5 to 16 and there are different activities for different age groups. They kick off with a circus skills and multi-sports day for 8 to 14 year olds at Callington on April 2, followed by a pottery workshop on April 3 and football coaching on April 4 and 5 for 5 to 14 year olds. Fun activities for 5 to 7 year olds are being held at Delaware school on April 3 and on April 5 young thespians can take part in a theatrical workshop. Gymnastics, dance and music workshops are all planned for week two of the holidays.
