A TASTY tipple was on offer to visitors in the food tent courtesy of a family from Sampford Courtenay.

The McIlwraith family has recently started producing traditional Devonshire ciders on their farm. James and Alison (pictured) McIlwraith, aided by their daughter Alice, make the ciders from apples and produce sourced on their farm.

Those lucky enough to walk past the stand were able to taste their elderflower, vintage and traditional ciders. For the designated drivers the family also offered non-alcoholic rose hip and raspberry flavoured ciders.

The family have been selling their goods at farmers' markets, and also in farm shops across the area, as far away as Bristol.
