CHRISTMAS waste and recycling in East Cornwall will be collected every day as normal over the Christmas and new year period, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
There will be no rubbish or clinical waste collections on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
This will be collected on the following week, (Wednesday, January 1 and Thursday, January 2).
All recycling and garden waste collections that fall on either Christmas Day or Boxing day will be collected on Saturday, December 28.
Christmas trees will be collected during usual waste collections taking place in the weeks of Monday, January 6 and Monday, January 13. Put your trees out for collection on your usual waste collection day, on the alternative week to your recycling collection. Christmas cards and wrapping paper can be recycled, although paper coated with foil or plastic cannot be accepted.
