WEST Devon residents are invited to hear the Launceston Male Voice Choir in concert at the end of the month to raise money for a community centre.

The Launceston Male Voice Choir will be performing at the Victory Hall in Lewdown on Saturday October 29 at 7.30pm in aid of the new Lifton Community Centre.

At the concert community group Team Lifton will be presenting a cheque to the trustees of the new community centre for £2,000 raised from the recent 'Lifton's Big Weekend'. The event saw people enjoy sports, games, a fete, stalls, vintage vehicles, a barn dance and a dog show as well as many other attractions.
