ONE fire fighting appliance from Tavistock attended to a report of a chimney fire at Old Exeter Road in Tavistock on Wednesday, January 6.

Upon arrival, at around 6pm, crews found a fire involving a wood burning stove. Crews used chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
