LOADS of spooky fun will be had by more than 100 youngsters this Sunday, who are attending a big fancy dress Hallowe?en party being held in Tavistock Pannier Market. The party, organised and supported by market traders in celebration of 900 years of market history in the town, is free and open to primary school aged children. Deputy market reeve Mike Souttar said: ?Everything is going well and we expect the children and their parents to have a lot of fun. ?There are tickets left for about half a dozen more children, so if anyone else wants to come, they need to see me in the market office as soon as possible.? The party will include a disco, face painting, craft activities, fun and games with Butterfingers the Clown ? and a big party tea. Mike said market staff and traders were grateful for the support of Somerfield, which is providing snacks and drinks, Woolworths which has donated gift vouchers and Mainly Stationery, which is providing craft materials. He also paid tribute to the hard work of market trader Caroline Raw, who has been the driving force behind the organisation of the party. ?She?s been fantastic,? said Mike. The party takes place between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday October 30 ? for information, call Mike Souttar on 01822 611003.
