CHILDREN from Buckland Monachorum Pre-school and the reception class from St Andrew's Primary School saw newly born lambs on a visit to Greenwell Farm last week.

The visits were part of the farm's 'Lambing Live' event which saw groups of school children visiting and an open afternoon for visitors to have a guided tour of the sheep maternity unit, see the heavily pregnant ewes and the new-born lambs as well as speaking to the farmer and his team about what happens during the lambing season.
