IN the Okehampton Netball league Falcons won again but it wasn't the easiest match that they have had this season. With a strong Quicksilver side Falcons won by 38- 24 against Quicksilver. Players of match Sue Searle (Falcons) Sam Curtis (Quicksilver). Speedwells also had another win, but again it wasn't easy for them. Hot Shots were playing some of their best netball this season in the first half but unfortunately couldn't keep it up for the final 30 minutes. Speedwells 37 Hot Shots 24. Poms: Sandra Ausden (Speedwells) Kerry Drew (Hot Shots). In the Magpies match against Phoenix things just didn't seem to go the right way for the Magpies and they made hard work of the game. Magpies ended up taking the game 36 goals to 23. Poms: Tina Friend (Magpies) Ali Sprake (Phoenix). In division two though it was a different story for Jesters, they managed to keep Groovy Chicks well at bay with the score finishing Jesters 35 Groovy Chicks 13. Poms: Jo Grout (Jesters) Jemima Smith (Groovy Chicks). Dodgers had another win, which once again improves their chances of promotion for next season, against FBI. Dodgers 39 FBI 23. Poms: Hayley Peters (Dodgers) Zoë Colton (FBI). Division three also saw a good match between Maltesers and Starlets. The final score Maltesers 37 Starlets 24.
