TORRIDGE, North, Mid and West Devon Citizen’s Advice (CAB) received a generous cheque from Okehampton Town Council recently.

The charity was presented with a cheque for £3,500 by Okehampton Mayor Paul Vachon towards the running of the charity’s Okehampton service.

Chief executive of the charity Vicki Rowe said: ‘We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the town council who have once again committed to supporting our free community service. This money will help to ensure that the residents of Okehampton and the surrounding areas can continue to access free, confidential advice when they need it most.’
