THIS game was played in good spirit but it was mid-way into the first half before Tavistock Town took the lead when Reece Watters shot took a deflection and went into the net.
Tavistock's Teigan Rosenquest had three first half attempts on target but these were denied by an on form Lipson keeper Aaron Sluggett.
Lipson had their chances through Darren Noad but these were denied by some outstanding defensive work from Jack Piper, Cameron Heard and player of the match Thomas McMahon.
The second half saw more chances from both sides, but it was Tavistock who dominated with an outstanding performance by Charlie Barriball in the midfield, who created the second goal scored by Harry Rawlinson.
New signing Cameron Heard scored the third from outside the box with a sweet left foot shot finding the top right-hand corner.
The final goal came from a quick one-two by Rosenquest and Jordan Channon.
Rosenquest dribbled through the defence and tucked it away inside the front post.
