DEVON Air Ambulance Trust’s (DAAT) charity shop on Market Street in Tavistock has been closed for two weeks due to flooding.

Martin Bell, on behalf of Devon Air Ambulance, said: ‘We would like to thank the people of Tavistock and surrounding areas for their continued support of Devon Air Ambulance and in particular, our Tavistock shop. As you may be aware we have had to close this shop temporarily due to black water flooding.

‘Work now starts to dry out, clear and sanitise the shop before we can look at re-opening, which we hope to be in mid-March.

‘Once the works have been carried out, we will of course be appealing to the fantastic communities to help us set up and re-stock the shop.

‘Please do keep an eye out on the posters in the shop windows and on the shop’s Facebook page for updates.’
