A ONE-day charity sale takes place in Tavistock Town Hall this Saturday from 10.30am to 4.30pm in aid of the Grassroots Challenge appeal to help older people in need.

Other charities involved are Tavistock Lions, Tavistock Rotary, St Luke's Hospice, Children's Hospice, TAMWED and Inner Wheel. Raffle prizes have been donated by many local businesses, including Towls, Jag, Tavistock Co-op, Somerfield, Vaughan's, Lawsons and Tavistock Film and Music.
