A SUMMER evening production of Shakespeare's The Tempest (right) has raised over £1,300 for Farms for City Children at its Iddesleigh farm Nethercott House. More than 170 people brought chairs, blankets and picnics to watch Miracle Theatre's retelling of the classic play on Nethercott's frown lawn, with the rolling hills of the War Horse Valley as its backdrop. Fundraising manager Tracy Izod said: 'The play was brilliant and the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all who came along to support it. 'A great turnout ensured we raised plenty of funds for Farms for City Children and we would like to thank all those who came. 'Many had travelled over 40 miles to join us on the evening. 'We are very much looking forward to welcoming Miracle Theatre back here again next July with another great production.'
