TWO sisters from South East Cornwall helped to raise money for serving and ex-service men and women while on a holiday in Spain recently.

Alice and Kimberley Upcott, 16 and 14, from Gunnislake, helped to raise funds for the Royal British Legion in Southern Spain while there on holiday.

They were staying with their grandparents Keith and Barbara, formerly from Tavistock, but who have now lived in Spain for more than four years.

Barbara Upcott is the Poppy Appeal organiser for the Los Romanes branch of the Royal British Legion, and with the help of Alice and Kimberley, raised €255 at a local market.
