A SUCCESSFUL dog show was held last month at Cholwell Equestrian Centre, Lewdown, in aid of the Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue Charity.

Around 80 dogs and their owners came along and took part (pictured right).

Breed and family dog class winners were: J and M Tipper, Mrs Wooldridge, J Green, S Jullian, E F King, J Diggory, T Edworthy, B Wooldridge, A Quick, S Watson, M Brusey, Mrs B Soper, J McMurdo, S Penfold and B Mercury.

Obedience class winners were: A Quick and J Kurthoys.

Organisers expressed thanks to everyone who helped, sponsored and supported the event in any way.

The next event will be a family dog show held in conjunction with the classic car show at Summer Hill Farm, Ashburton, on August 17.
