AN APPEAL is going out for street collectors for Cancer Research UK on July 30 and 31 in Tavistock.
Anyone who can spare a little time, even if it is just an hour, to collect in the street or at the entrance to Safeway is asked to call 01822 613057.
?The increasing success in the treatment of cancer patients encourages people to donate generously and it would be a great pity if they were denied the opportunity to give through a shortage of collectors,? said Tavistock representative for Cancer Research UK Elizabeth Harding.
