WITH Christmas fast approaching, more than 25 national and local charities have Christmas cards on offer at the annual Cards for Good Causes charity Christmas card shop in Tavistock.

The shop, open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm at the lower deck meeting room in the United Reformed Church in Russell Street, is staffed by volunteers.

Over the last five years the charities involved have received £20 million from the national network of shops, of which Tavistock is one. Wrapping paper, gift tags and some other Christmas items are also available.
