Okehampton Argyle 3rds 0 Bampton 6 OKEHAMPTON had about 20 chances on goal; Woodhouse hitting the post and Arnott missing from close range. Had Argyle scored first the final result would have been closer. The home side kept the score line even for the first twenty five minutes, having most of the possession but unfortunately they let in an easy goal due to poor marking. Luck seemed to go against them with Bampton winning a penalty for an unfortunate handball in the opposition?s area. The frustration showed and Argyle had a player sent off for making their views known to the referee just after the whistle. Despite two half time substitutes Argyle could not recover with three further goals going against them. The thirds should not be too despondent because Bampton would be clear league leaders if they had not had eight points deducted earlier in the season. Man of the match: Shane Monnox.
