THERE will be a meeting open to all parishioners of Mary Tavy next Tuesday, giving a chance for people to meet candidates standing for the parish council elections on May 5.

The public will have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.

There are 12 candidates for the nine council places. They are: Ray Aston, Lorraine Beeley, Michael Cook, George Hill, Roger Page, Terry Pearce, Anita Prosser, Martin Robins, Mike Roe, Michael Smale, Julian Tarrant-Boyce, Paul Williams.

The meeting is on Tuesday April 19 at 7.30pm at the Coronation Hall.
