MAKE your mark for the General, West Devon Borough, town and parish councils elections next month by using a postal or proxy vote.

The final deadline for applications to receive a postal vote for the May 7 elections is 5pm on Tuesday, April 21. If you would like a proxy vote, where someone votes on your behalf, the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday, April 28. Time is also running out to register to vote. Anyone who is not on the register by Monday, April 20 will not be able to vote on election day. Registration can be completed online in just a few minutes at http://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote">www.gov.uk/register-to-vote — you will need your National Insurance number and date of birth to register.
