AFTER many years of fundraising, the Bere Alston Regeneration Project opened the doors to a new state of the art community building annexe to the 100-year-old parish hall earlier this year.
The project is now offering volunteer recruitment to help complete refurbishment of the hall in exchange for training.
The building is the hub of the community, used by a diverse range of groups and individuals, and the entire complex, which offers a range of facilities, is available for hire.
Bere Alston Regeneration Project (BARP) is offering volunteering opportunities to people who wish to gain experience, help others, or just be part of something important to the community. Anyone interested can apply to project officer Carole Cowell on 01822 840000 or email [email protected]">[email protected] Training, support and supervision will be given in exchange for volunteers' time. There will be a range of opportunities to meet volunteers' needs, skills and experiences.
