CHILDREN at Bere Alston Primary School sang their hearts out earlier this year, to raise a huge amount for Children's Hospice South West.
The school's sponsored singathon, held on March 20, raised an incredible £838 for the hospice, which was given to fundraiser Judy Pride at a special presentation held at the school this month.
On singathon day, there were songs sung ranging from traditional favourites to pop songs, groups of children busked in the playground and a huge range of musical instruments were played, from guitars and drums to recorders.
