THE Stanton family of Monksmead, Tavistock, are this week toasting West Devon Homes ?with champagne presented to them by the company?s chairman, Simon Howes, to celebrate their new tenancy of the company?s 1500th home. Mr and Mrs Stanton and their two sons have just moved into their brand new home at Monksmead. Mrs Stanton said: ?I have lived in Tavistock all my life and it means the world to have an affordable, secure home in my own community. The house is an absolutely perfect family home ? picking up the keys felt like winning the lottery - we love it!? West Devon Homes has released 48 new affordable homes for rent this year alone. This latest development at Monksmead will be officially opened in the Autumn. Chairman Simon Howes said: ?It is always a pleasure to greet our tenants in their new homes, but I am particularly pleased to welcome Mr and Mrs Stanton and their boys.?
