A SCHOOL for children with little or no sight has received a boost thanks to the efforts of the team behind the Chagford Show.

Show organisers recently held the annual show dinner at the Fingle Bridge Inn in Drewsteignton where 2012 show president Judith Colton and chairman of the show Jonathan Lentern (pictured) presented a cheque for £1,000 to Kevin Power from the West of England School and College.

The school has provided education and care for young people with visual impairment since 1838.
